Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation - A Division of McGrath is seeking a Construction Team Lead to manage a crew in servicing and repairing modular buildings. You will coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and ensure quality aligns with our standards.

The role involves multi-trade construction, safety compliance, and hands-on maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting, with a Monday-Thursday schedule. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints, schematics, procedures and work orders.
• Able to lead a team; experience supervising 6+ employees preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred; able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of 2016 CBC, 2018 IBC and ADA building codes is a plus.
• LEAN knowledge is a plus; capable of material and labor takeoffs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize work schedule for production crew, assign modular mechanics tasks, learn/train as needed, and verify quality according to our standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and construction on modular buildings including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting and cleaning.
• Monitor the work of team members to meet productivity, quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure team maintains tools, supplies and work area per the 6S checklist.
• Participate in safety meetings and training; conduct safety audits and document results.
• Provide training and coaching to crew members; backfill for other leaders when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned; schedule Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm.
