Job summary

CenCore is seeking Lead Construction Surveillance Technicians to support a secure construction program in Washington, D.C. This role provides lead-level support for CST coverage across day and night shifts, helping maintain reliable surveillance operations and secure site standards.

The LCST will coordinate coverage, report issues, and ensure compliance with security procedures in a cleared environment; active TS/SCI clearance and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend support are required.

Qualifications

This role provides lead-level support for CST coverage across day and night shifts, helping maintain reliable surveillance operations and secure site standards. The LCST will support coordination, coverage awareness, and issue escalation for construction surveillance activities in support of national security requirements. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend support as required.

• Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills.
• Leadership presence in shift-based security operations.
• Attention to detail and strong situational awareness.

• Professional communication with site and program stakeholders.
• Sound judgment when escalating concerns or coverage issues.
• Ability to coordinate across teams while following established procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position is based on-site in Washington, D.C. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts and day or night shift coverage. Weekend work, overtime, and schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs. The position supports a secure construction environment and may require standing, walking, observing assigned areas, and working around active construction activity. Compensation Overview

The hourly pay rate for this position is $47.00 per hour. This position is overtime eligible and may include per diem and travel reimbursement in accordance with contract requirements and company policy. Eligible employees may enroll in company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefits in accordance with plan terms and enrollment requirements. The company contributes toward employee healthcare premiums, subject to plan provisions. Employees are also eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, including employer matching contributions in accordance with plan guidelines and eligibility requirements.
