Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (Newport News Shipbuilding) seeks a skilled supervisor to coordinate and oversee all aspects of the AOR construction process. You will define scope, goals, and deliverables that support build strategy, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure safety and contractual compliance across complex shipbuilding activities.

Responsibilities include identifying design, material, scheduling, and cost risks, expediting resolutions, and ensuring work proceeds on schedule

Qualifications

• Must have: 2 years Foreman experience or Apprentice Graduate or Military E-6 and above or BS in Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
• 4 years exempt related experience (Planning, Production Control, Engineering, Construction/Project, Merchant Marine).
• 6 years non-exempt professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process for AOR.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support build strategy and schedule.
• Manage expectations with team and stakeholders to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
