Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent in York, SC to oversee daily field operations on commercial low-voltage projects. The role requires hands-on leadership on active sites with travel to additional project sites for training as needed.

Monday-Friday schedule, 40 hours, overtime as required, and a pay rate of $35.00-$42.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety standards, and the ability to coordinate field teams,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Superintendent or construction field leadership role.
• Experience working with low-voltage systems or low-voltage construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite operations.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate field teams and project activities.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project managers, department leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines in an active construction environment.
• Ability to work overtime as project needs require.
• Ability and willingness to travel to other project sites for training when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations and field activities.
• Coordinate low-voltage installation activities to support project schedules and requirements.
• Supervise and provide direction to field personnel and subcontractors as applicable.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship, productivity, and adherence to established timelines.
• Communicate project status, site needs, and potential issues to project management.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable safety procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, workforce needs, and site logistics.
• Identify and help resolve field issues that could affect project completion.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and productive jobsite.
• Support overtime requirements when necessary to meet project deadlines.
