Job summary

rand* construction corporation is seeking a dynamic Superintendent for Salt Lake City, UT, to lead field staff on commercial interior and building renovation projects.

Role requires ensuring work meets plans and specs, supervising carpenters and subcontractors, and coordinating materials and staff on site. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma with two years of college preferred and prior superintendent experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; two years of college preferred.
• Experience as a superintendent on commercial interior, retail or building renovation projects.
• Demonstrated safety performance on projects.
• Audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are met.
• Train and coach Superintendents to meet high administrative and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field staff and ensure projects are built according to plans and specifications.
• Supervise carpenters, laborers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate material, tools, equipment, information and staff on site.
• Handle daily reports, time sheets and safety/accident reports.
• Direct subcontractors and schedule work according to the project schedule.
• Utilize management skills to direct supervision of subcontractors within their scope.
