Job summary

We Search People is assisting a family-owned general contractor in Miami to find experienced Superintendents or Assistant Superintendents for permanent, full-time roles on ground-up and interior commercial projects. The ideal candidate will manage all on-site activities, coordinate crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Requirements include 5+ years as a Commercial Superintendent, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent with a General Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate daily work activities.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Ensure all inspections are completed and projects are delivered to client expectations.
