Job summary

Miller Bros. Const., Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations at multiple project sites in Ohio. The role includes planning projects, supervising field crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree (or higher) and 3+ years in construction, with strong communication and organization skills. Travel between sites and on-site leadership are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or 3+ years construction field experience.
• Experience establishing and monitoring traffic zones.
• WTS certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Proficient with common construction software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, team members and vendors to complete each project on time
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project
• Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute duties effectively
• Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet safety and compliance regulations
• Maintain a written daily log of visitors, actions, materials expended, and problems resolved
• Travel between multiple job sites and manage workloads of individual projects
• Identify and resolve problems, organize meetings and cooperate with team members
• Set an example in keeping the job site organized and compliant with waste/environmental standards
