Job summary

DC Builders & DC Structures seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee projects from pre-construction discussions through completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and teams, ensuring top-quality craftsmanship and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive framing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with clients, design teams, and trades. Travel to project locations is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project-management skills.
• Experience coordinating with trades and managing budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Engage in preliminary project discussions with clients to understand their vision and budgetary constraints.
• Formulate a schedule of values using historical project data to align with client expectations.
• Expand and refine the job costing database for improved accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate in creating and refining project scopes for bidding and contracts.
• Facilitate bid solicitation and subcontractor bidding processes.
• Draft subcontractor agreements and manage the subcontractor buyout process.
• Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance for projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets in coordination with active Project Managers.
