Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the inspection and evaluation of home construction, ensuring quality standards and code compliance for a premium customer experience. You will manage defect documentation, coordinate with the construction team, and drive continuous quality improvements at Lennar communities.

The role requires field presence, strong communication, and strict adherence to safety and building regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma; college degree preferred.
Certification in construction codes preferred; strong plan reading ability.
Experience in construction quality inspection or related role is preferred.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to train others.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough QA inspections of homes focusing on materials and workmanship.
Ensure construction adheres to approved plans, specs, local codes and scopes of work.
Identify and document defects, deviations and non-compliance issues.
Complete QA Acceptance as scheduled by the Construction Management Team.
Maintain detailed inspection records with photos and reports.
Communicate findings and recommendations to contractors and stakeholders.
Stay informed on building codes and product specs; provide training recommendations.
Conduct New Home Orientations with customers.
