Job summary

Align Builders is seeking a Project Manager to lead project teams, understand scopes, and drive successful delivery of commercial construction projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, strong cost control, risk management, and proficiency with Procore and scheduling tools. This onsite position is based in San Diego, CA with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Commercial Construction Project Engineer/Manager.
• Experience in Health Care/OSHPD, Life Sciences, Higher Ed, and Office improvements preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Proficient with PM software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and support internal/external members.
• Oversee risk management, contracts, subcontracts, and insurance certifications.
• Oversee cost control including forecasting, budgeting, and billings.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and communicate schedule impacts to Owner.
• Ensure project completion and build lasting client relationships.
