Job summary

Fountain Development LLC in North Carolina is seeking a General Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of site-development and construction projects from start to finish. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

You will develop safety plans with the superintendent, manage reports, and ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management or architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field construction management experience (5-8 years) with supervisory duties.
• Strong leadership, urgency, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Negotiate subcontracts and material purchases.
• Set up procedures for buyout, drawings, and material delivery.
• Maintain safety plans with the Superintendent.
• Report project status to management.
• Scope subcontractor bids and manage close-out.
