Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for our Kodiak, AK construction project.

You will lead multiple facets of the project, from costs and planning to scheduling, engineering, and personnel management, while building lasting client relationships and driving profitability. With a strong track record in construction leadership, you will oversee project startup through close-out, manage contractual issues, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in managing construction teams.
• Successful in client relationships.
• Relocation may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple aspects of controls including costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of personnel
• Project start up, project completion, and entire close-out process
• Develop strategy for personnel development & recruiting
• Responsible for managing contractual issues
• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships
• Accurate forecasting of costs for job completion; provide leadership to project team
• Final say in the resolution of problems
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
• Identify issues to Program Manager as required to ensure project success
• Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost to complete
• Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals
