Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western seeks an Assistant Project Manager for a Kodiak, AK project. You will help plan, schedule, budget, and coordinate activities, while coordinating safety and quality controls to keep projects on track.

You will lead subcontractors, monitor changes, and assist Project Engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and strong client relations within a growing, family-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous construction experience preferred.
• Ability to establish relationships and lead people.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, scheduling and coordination
• Safety and quality control management
• Accurate forecasting and management of budgets
• Change order management
• Managing critical subcontractors
• Manage Project Engineers
• Resolution of problems involving labor disputes, material delivery and contract administration
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management
