Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Construction Project Manager 2 to oversee all phases of the project delivery process for capital and maintenance projects on its Augusta campuses. You will lead planning, design, and construction efforts with end-user groups and university administration, ensuring schedules, budgets, and compliance with USG and local codes.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, reporting to stakeholders, conducting on-site inspections, managing vendor and consultant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management or related field of study and 3 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License to operate AU vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project delivery for university capital projects and maintenance projects.
• Monitor project data including progress reports and costs; produce status reports for stakeholders.
• Perform on-site inspections and participate in project meetings, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Manage procurement processes for outside vendors, design consultants and contractors; review invoices.
• Provide additional support to AU shops and events as needed.
