Job summary

Intertek-PSI is seeking a Project Manager for Construction in Louisiana to lead large Construction Materials Testing projects and ensure client satisfaction, quality, and financial performance. This hands-on role oversees field and lab operations, directs teams, and ensures safety and compliance.

The successful candidate will manage project scope, budgets, and schedules while developing technical staff and fostering strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing large Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects.
• Minimum three (3) years of project management experience in CMT or related construction services.
• Strong leadership, client relationship, and communication skills.
• Experience supervising, coordinating, mentoring, and scheduling technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead large CMT projects from initiation through closeout.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion.
• Review project setup, scope, schedules, and budgets for successful execution.
• Prepare and review contracts and project documentation.
• Coordinate and direct technical and administrative teams to meet objectives.
• Monitor budgets, costs, profitability, and change orders.
