Job summary

EDG Inc. in Jackson, MS is seeking a Construction Manager III to lead capital projects from initiation to closeout.

You will oversee scope, cost estimates, schedules, and field activities across multiple sites, coordinating outages and contractor bids. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and 5–10 years of Electric Utility experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 5–10 years of related Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Group to manage capital projects through the entire life cycle from definition to closeout.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules with project teams.
• Attend on-site field/scope visits and support outage planning and coordination.
• Develop detailed construction plans and identify outage requirements.
• Review bid packages and participate in vendor selections and contracting.
