Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Lead Construction Inspector to support engineers and lead a construction project team. The base location is flexible, with a preference for the Denver metro area and a willingness to work remotely.

You will coordinate, execute, and manage projects, perform calculations, and assist with engineering- and construction-related services. The role requires 5 years of related experience, relevant certifications, and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in municipal or CDOT construction inspection.
• DOT, ACI, or related certifications for asphalt and/or concrete preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; ability to learn new software.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute, and manage construction projects.
• Assist with analysis for engineering and construction-related services.
• Supervise less experienced staff and support the project team.
• Work long hours during construction season.
