• Requires Erosion and Sediment Inspector Certification, and may require additional VDOT Certifications in asphalt, concrete, soil and compactions, or other related areas.
• Asphalt Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection of construction projects for compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
• Plan and schedule inspections, supervise subordinate activities, coordinate with contractors, review project documentation, and resolve problems.
• Lead inspection activities on large/complex projects and coordinate training for staff.
