Job summary

Warfel Construction Company is seeking a full-time on-site Foreman to assist the Superintendents and project team with daily tasks, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing material deliveries, and ensuring installations meet project requirements.

Depending on experience, this role may run its own project. Reports to the site Superintendent with oversight from the Director of Field Operations. Daily travel within 0–120 miles may be required, with a salary premium for travel beyond the radius.

Qualifications

• Six years of construction experience required.
• No formal education required; construction background acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Review daily jobsite needs with the site supervisor and define how to assist to track or manage items.
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications; analyze methods and sequencing of work.
• Promote safety culture and enforce safe work practices on site; rectify hazards immediately.
• Manage all contract documents and keep file locations updated onsite.
• Check shop drawings and submittals; confirm design requirements before fabrication.
• Purchase jobsite materials and supplies as authorized by the Superintendent/PM.
• Coordinate with vendors to meet delivery dates and field activity timelines.
• Review deliveries against submittals and contract documents; track delivery log.
• Prepare notes and photos for subcontractors to document communications and issues.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and complete related documentation for progress.
• Complete punchlists and site close-out documentation.
