Job summary

Dynamic Construction Group in the Kansas City metro area is seeking a Construction Estimator to own the estimating function, with 3+ years of experience in commercial construction. This high‑impact role offers direct visibility to leadership and a chance to influence processes, profitability, and future hiring.

You will prepare accurate cost estimates, perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analyses, review plans and bid documents, solicit subcontractor pricing, and help improve estimating

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or estimating software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed pricing analysis
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Identify risks, gaps, and value-engineering opportunities
• Manage bid schedules, timelines, and submissions
• Support project handoff to operations and project teams
• Assist in developing and improving estimating processes and systems
