Job summary

Knife River is seeking a concrete plant operator in Minnesota to safely run the plant, batch concrete materials, and supervise the team. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, with possible Saturday work from June to October due to weather or demand.

Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch, monitoring production, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Prior experience in concrete operations is preferred, with emphasis on reliability and

Qualifications

• 2 years from post high school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of plant maintenance and operation.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in concrete industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the concrete plant to batch materials and supervise the plant and team.
• Lead plant personnel and coordinate with dispatch to schedule drivers.
• Ensure safety compliance and environmental regulations at the site.
• Tear down, set up and calibrate plant; perform equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Monitor production, quality control and material blends as required.
