Job summary

Okland Construction seeks an experienced field Superintendent to lead concrete place-and-finish operations on complex projects. You will coordinate manpower, equipment, deliveries, sequencing, and site logistics while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time completion.

You will mentor foremen and craft professionals, read and interpret drawings, and collaborate with project leadership to align concrete activities with overall schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of concrete construction experience with significant place-and-finish operations.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or comparable field leadership role overseeing concrete crews and operations.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, curing practices, saw cutting, quality control, and placement sequencing.
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing large and/or complex concrete pours.
• Strong understanding of manpower planning, production tracking, equipment utilization, and field logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
• Proven ability to lead and develop field teams while maintaining accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead all concrete place-and-finish operations, ensuring work is performed safely and per project quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate concrete placements, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Lead pre-pour planning meetings and confirm crews, equipment, materials, and site conditions are ready before placement activities begin.
• Oversee concrete placement, finishing, curing, saw cutting, and protection of completed work.
