Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Concrete Paving Foreman for the Southeast Connector Project in Fort Worth, TX. Plan, coordinate, and lead a concrete paving crew to deliver high‑quality results on schedule.

This role requires experience reading plans, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining safety standards on a busy construction site. Strong leadership and communication with engineers, leadmen, and clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimun of 3 years foreman experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading a concrete paving crew.
• Ability to read plans and verify line, grade, dimensions, and finished quality.
• Coordinate crew assignments, concrete deliveries, equipment, and daily safety requirements.
• Supervise craftsmen and monitor safe work behaviors.
• Develop and monitor daily and weekly plans, assign goals for craftsmen and crew.
• Interact with client representatives, engineers, leadmen, superintendents, safety, HR and QA.
• Offers contingent on passing Drug and Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity, time sheets and daily reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing for the crew.
• Responsible for timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality.
• Ensure safety of crew and comply with company and government safety rules.
• Develop crew attitude by toolbox meetings and communicating safety concerns, scope, plans and schedules.
