Heartbeat Development seeks an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead residential and commercial concrete crews in Mount Vernon, MO. You will supervise layout, forming, pouring, finishing, and site safety, ensuring quality and on-time completion across multiple long-term projects.

Qualifications

• Proven field leadership of concrete crews on diverse projects.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and measurements for field execution.
• Must be able to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead concrete crews on daily field operations, including layout, forming, pouring, finishing, curing, and cleanup.
• Read and interpret drawings, site plans, measurements, grades, and specs.
• Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump trucks, material needs, tools, and crew assignments.
• Plan daily work around weather, deliveries, site access, and priorities.
• Build and check forms, sub-base prep, grade, slope, layout, and finish quality.
• Train and mentor laborers and junior crew members on safe practices.
• Communicate with project managers and ownership on schedule and progress.
• Maintain safe jobsites with PPE and OSHA-aligned practices.
• Identify strong laborers for lead roles.
