Job summary

Encore Pavement LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead our concrete crews on construction sites. You will supervise daily operations, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality finishes while interpreting blueprints and site plans.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on concrete experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate materials, equipment, and inspections to prevent delays. This on-site role requires lifting 50 pounds and occasional travel as projects arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of forming, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crew members, including finishers and laborers.
• Coordinate daily tasks and assign work to crew based on project needs.
• Ensure correct placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and inspections to avoid delays.
• Monitor progress and report status updates to the Superintendent or PM.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Enforce company policies and safety compliance (OSHA, PPE, etc.).
• Oversee and supervise daily operations of one of our Concrete Crews including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects.
• Must be able to walk through construction sites and lift 50 pounds from the ground.
• Support safety & health programs, including daily tailgate meetings, accident investigations, and development and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Provide guidance and development of hourly personnel to meet performance requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
