Job summary

Hunter Contracting Co. seeks a Concrete Foreman to oversee, direct, and manage activities of workers on curb and gutter, handicap ramps, scuppers, catch basins, roadways, and all concrete-related construction projects; coordinating with foremen, superintendents, and the General Superintendent.

The role requires planning manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules; reviewing plans for proper execution; leading crews, ensuring safety and quality; coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years’ supervisory experience; AND,
• Minimum 5 years’ construction experience
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates concrete construction activities, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Reviews plans, specifications, estimates, and contract documents to ensure work is properly planned and executed.
• Leads, assigns, trains, and motivates crews while addressing production and personnel issues.
• Oversees concrete forming, reinforcing, placement, finishing, curing, and repair operations.
• Ensures work meets project specifications, quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Coordinates subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, testing agencies, and other project resources.
• Performs quantity take-offs, verifies quantities, and assists with estimates, change orders, and cost control.
• Coordinates utility locates, surveying, testing, material procurement, and required project approvals.
• Develops short-term schedules and monitors labor, equipment, and material needs.
• Maintains project documentation, daily logs, production records, and quantity reports.
• Inspects equipment, materials, and work in progress to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicates project progress, needs, and concerns with Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Enforces company and project safety policies and maintains a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
