Job summary

Gioia Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking a Place and Finish Foreman to organize and supervise a pour crew for flatwork, floors, and site paving. You will work closely with the General Superintendent to ensure quality and production of floors and site concrete.

You will be responsible for planning pours, directing finishing techniques, and maintaining safety on the job site. A minimum of 5 years supervising large pours is required, with OSHA 30 preferred and ACI certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervising crews on large floors/paving.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (OSHA 10 minimum).
• ACI Concrete Flatwork Finisher certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the pour crew.
• Work hands-on with the crew for placing, leveling, and finishing concrete.
• Develop and execute pour plans and schedules.
• Inspect subgrade, vapor barrier, embeds, and forms for pour readiness.
• Ensure quality control of concrete and proper mix design.
• Manage time sheets, tickets, and daily records.
• Oversee safety and operation of finishing equipment.
• Coordinate with Field Staff and Operations on costs and manpower.
