Job summary

Gioia Concrete Construction, Inc. is seeking a reliable Concrete Finisher for varied commercial and industrial sites in Ohio. You will work safely to finish concrete, read plans, and coordinate with the team to ensure quality results.

Responsibilities include reviewing pour plans, assisting with pumping operations, and ensuring forms and surfaces meet specs. Strong work ethic and willingness to train are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience placing and finishing concrete.
• Must have own tools (toolbelt, floats, trowels, edgers).
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to lift 50 lbs; outdoor work in all weather.
• ACI Flatwork certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing tools to level concrete and create textures.
• Review pour plans and inspect forms, subgrade, and embeds.
• Assist with truck chute and pump hose placement.
• Set and brace forms to required depths and slopes.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds and inspect finished surfaces.
