Job summary

Sequoia Services seeks an experienced Concrete Rodbuster to join our on-site team in Bluefield, WV. You will read plans, set forms, place and finish concrete, and tie rebar per specifications. This role requires strength, precision with tools, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

We value candidates with at least five years of experience and a solid track record in finishing concrete, forming, and rebar work. Safety PPE is mandatory, and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete placement, finishing, curing and cutting.
• Ability to read plans and tie rebar per plans.
• Proficient in using common finishing tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow established finish grade during concrete pourings.
• Read tape measures accurately for dimensions.
• Tie rebar according to plans and specs.
• Install embeds and anchor bolts per plans.
• Set string line for concrete forms placement.
• Construct and erect wooden/steel forms as required.
• Form setup, leveling, and form alignment.
• Place, finish, cure, and cut concrete slabs.
• Maintain and use tools safely (edges, floats, blades, drills, lasers).
• Patch voids and repair concrete as needed.
• Dismantle and store forms after use.
