Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Concrete Finisher JM to level and finish freshly poured concrete across floors, walls, ceilings, foundations, and sidewalks. You will read plans, interpret blueprints, and work with rodbusters and a small crew to ensure accurate placement and finish.

The role requires journeyman-level experience (4+ years) or master journeyman with NCCER, adherence to MIC safety programs, toolbox participation, and the ability to work up to 60 hours weekly per project schedule.

Qualifications

• Journeyman with at least four years’ craft experience.
• Master Journeyman with four years’ craft experience and NCCER certification.
• Familiar with MIC Health and Safety programs and site regulations.
• Able to participate in toolbox meetings and set a safe example.
• Provide safety toe boots and personal tools per Casey Tool List; company provides power tools and PPE.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines; maintain house keeping.

Responsibilities

• Levelling the top surface of freshly poured concrete, grout, and similar products on floors, walls, ceilings, foundations, or sidewalks.
• Read and interpret measuring tools to perform tasks accurately.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Place, vibrate, and finish concrete in various applications; repair as needed.
• Direct rodbusters and concrete workers; supervise a small crew.
