Job summary

Mason Construction, LLC. is seeking an Industrial Journeyman Concrete Finisher to place, smooth and finish poured concrete for foundations, paving, piers and walls.

You will work with carpenters to construct formwork and support structures, and may build wood framed structures as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial construction and 2+ years as a journeyman concrete finisher, with the ability to read prints and operate hand and power tools safely.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial construction experience.
• 2+ years journeyman concrete finisher experience.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings and plans.
• Must have all hand tools and be experienced with related power tools.
• Must be able to meet all physical demands and pre-employment conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and follow company policies at all times.
• Read blueprints, sketches and specifications to determine dimensions and materials needed.
• Pour, finish and cure concrete surfaces to specified textures and levels.
• Set up and dismantle formwork and shoring systems as required.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist with layout, alignment and verification of structures using basic surveying tools.
• Keep the jobsite organized and maintain housekeeping.
