Job summary

The Town of Marana is seeking a Crew Lead to work in the Public Works Department, Street Maintenance Division. This full-time role focuses on finishing concrete surfaces and supporting the Town’s cultural values.

The position requires leadership of assigned staff and coordination with other trades to ensure compliance with specifications. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid AZ Driver License, and relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona Driver License required.
• CDL Class A w/Tanker Endorsement or must obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• Must pass pre-employment physical including audiogram and 50-pound lift test.

Responsibilities

• Leads and trains assigned staff and provides service to customers.
• Utilizes techniques to finish concrete surfaces and reads/specifications to meet Town requirements.
• Removes and replaces concrete (ADA accesses, sidewalks, roads, curbs) using hand/power tools.
• Performs routine maintenance on trucks and equipment and reports mechanical problems.
• Operates a variety of trucks/equipment in compliance with safety procedures.
• Tracks work orders, manages materials and calls/Blue Stake as required.
