Job summary

The Town of Marana is seeking a Crew Lead with stormwater experience to join the Public Works Department, Street Maintenance Division. This full-time position oversees vegetation control, culvert maintenance, and supports the Town’s cultural values while coordinating a skilled landscaping team in Marana, AZ.

Responsibilities include leading staff, performing maintenance tasks, reading specs, coordinating with trades, and using asset management software to track work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Six months of additional education or training.
• Valid Arizona Driver License.
• Class A CDL w/Tanker Endorsement or pesticides must obtain within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, professionally-skilled maintenance and landscaping tasks; uses hand and power tools; inspects and maintains trucks and equipment; reports mechanical problems.
• Lead assigned staff; provides service to internal and external customers; trains other team members.
• Reads and follows specifications; collaborates with other trades to meet Town requirements; operates trucks and equipment related to concrete or asphalt with safety procedures.
• Uses asset management software to track work orders, work flow, materials, and supplies; calls, clears, and documents Blue Stake.
