Canyon Contracting, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead concrete construction projects from planning through completion.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, risk, quality and client relationships while coordinating with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors and suppliers. The role serves as the bridge between field and office, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the customer’s expectations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing concrete construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, profitability, and costs.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and successful project delivery.
• Experience with forecasting, financial tracking, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall direction and execution of assigned concrete construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs, scope, and contract requirements to understand expectations.
• Manage budgets, financial forecasting, cost tracking, and profitability.
• Identify and actively manage project risks.
• Schedule and facilitate pre-job meetings with key stakeholders.
• Lead site coordination with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop, track, and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Close out projects with punch lists and proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans and project policies.
