Job summary

Superior Concrete Solutions seeks a Concrete Polishing and Coatings Supervisor to lead field operations for residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects in Tell City, IN, with 20% travel. You’ll own field execution, mentor crews, and drive safety, quality, and productivity on coatings and polishing tasks.

You will manage equipment, delegate tasks, supervise diamond grinding, epoxy application, and finish inspections, while coordinating materials and logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in concrete coatings, polished concrete, or surface preparation.
• Proven experience in a field leadership or supervisory role managing construction crews.
• Demonstrated ability to operate industrial floor grinders, dust containment systems, and specialty coating tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to navigate dynamic jobsite challenges efficiently.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for designated project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations on concrete coatings and polishing projects to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Plan equipment, layout tasks, and delegate daily responsibilities to keep crews organized and focused.
• Perform surface preparation, diamond grinding, epoxy application, and polished concrete procedures alongside your team.
• Inspect project stages continuously to catch potential coating issues early and maintain top-notch finishes.
• Coordinate material tracking and jobsite logistics to keep work moving without unnecessary downtime.
• Train and mentor junior crew members on specialized application techniques and safe equipment operation.
• Resolve real-time field challenges and communicate project status effectively with general contractors and clients.
