Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Compute team in the Bellevue/San Francisco area. You will own meaningful parts of the compute platform, including instance types, capacity provisioning, and tenancy across GPUs and CPUs.

The role requires influencing engineers, designers, and executives to shape a scalable, cost-aware AI cloud; you’ll define requirements, pricing, and launch criteria, and partner across groups to deliver a cohesive product.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, including compute platform experience.
• Shipped compute primitives used at scale (instance types, capacity products).
• Understand GPU/CPU infra to discuss launch paths and placement.
• Owned a product with day-two behavior, including failure handling and maintenance.
• Experience with pricing, packaging, or commitment terms for infra products.
• Ability to distinguish hyperscaler playbooks for AI cloud vs cost considerations.
• Can translate ambiguous inputs into a clear product definition for multiple teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Find the Real Problem: get close to customers and identify blockers.
• Decide What Matters: rank work and justify what won’t be done this year.
• Write the Definition: produce requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Price and Package It: decide pricing, packaging, and commitments across NVIDIA GPU generations.
• Deliver With Engineering: collaborate with compute and control plane teams, manage scope.
• Land the Launch: set launch criteria and ensure documentation, pricing, and support are ready.
• Measure and Iterate: define success and validate with adoption and utilization.
• Make the Call Stick: document tradeoffs and decisions clearly.
• Work as a Group: partner with compute, storage, networking, orchestration, and commerce teams.
