Job summary

Lambda Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Compute team, owning a meaningful portion of how we provide compute to customers. You will shape instance families, sizes, tenancy, capacity access, and production automation across GPUs and CPUs.

The role requires deep compute platform experience at a hyperscaler or neocloud. You will work with engineering, storage, networking, and commerce teams to land features, define success metrics, and drive launch readiness with precise

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience on a compute platform at a hyperscaler, neocloud, or comparable cloud provider.
• Shipped compute primitives such as instance types, capacity products, provisioning interfaces, or placement and isolation controls.
• Experience with GPU and CPU infrastructure, including launch paths, placement, and performance considerations.
• Owned a product where day-two behavior (failure handling, maintenance, etc.) mattered.
• Owned pricing, packaging, or commitment terms for an infrastructure product.
• Can translate customer, technical, and commercial inputs into a shared product definition.
• Able to align multiple teams and stakeholders toward a common launch goal.
• Strong written communication; able to articulate decisions clearly to diverse contexts.

Responsibilities

• Find the Real Problem: engage closely with customers and deals to identify true blockers.
• Decide What Matters: prioritize work and explain what Lambda will not do this year.
• Write the Definition: produce precise requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Price and Package It: determine pricing and packaging across NVIDIA GPU generations.
• Deliver With Engineering: collaborate with compute and control plane teams through tradeoffs.
• Land the Launch: set launch criteria and secure documentation, pricing, and support.
• Measure and Iterate: define success and verify outcomes with data.
• Make the Call Stick: commit to decisions and defend them.
• Work as a Group: partner with compute, storage, networking, orchestration, and commerce teams.
