Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant research area (Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Mathematics).
• Excellent computational and teamwork skills; able to work independently.
• Experience with spatial transcriptomics and single‑cell genomics analyses.
• Programming in Python and Bash; HPC/workflow management experience (Snakemake/Nextflow).
• Experience with pancreatic islet or pancreas datasets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop computational analyses of spatial transcriptomics data.
• Integrate spatial transcriptomics with imaging data and calcium imaging.
• Analyze single-cell and single-nuclei RNA-seq datasets.
• Integrate data across modalities and perform cell-type deconvolution.
• Lead the project, present results, and publish findings.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to lab workflows.
