Job summary

Frontline Source Group is seeking a Compliance & Lab Manager in Denver to lead laboratory testing, support product certifications, and ensure safety, sanitation, energy efficiency, and quality across our equipment. You’ll coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and certification bodies to set testing criteria and address performance issues.

Your role requires 5+ years in lab/compliance roles in manufacturing, with strong HVAC/refrigeration knowledge, and the ability to train and guide lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a laboratory, product-testing, compliance, or engineering environment.
• Proven experience managing or leading laboratory testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, commercial appliances, or related products.
• Familiarity with product safety and sanitation testing standards.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and supervise testing activities.
• Establish testing criteria and coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Certification bodies.
• Investigate performance issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with UL, NSF, ETL, AHRI, ASHRAE, DOE, OSHA and related standards.
• Coordinate testing schedules aligned with product development timelines.
• Partner with external certification agencies and conduct internal audits.
• Train, mentor, and lead laboratory personnel to ensure audit readiness.
