Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Completions Engineer to lead design and execution of completion projects, coordinating with field and office staff. Responsibilities include cost estimates, timelines, AFE preparation, and post-project analysis to ensure safe, cost-effective operations.

The role requires deep technical expertise in hydraulic fracturing, tubing design, and completion equipment, with strong communication and leadership skills to interface across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Petroleum Engineering a plus.
• 5+ years in production, operations, completions, or reservoir engineering with 3+ years in onshore completions in a multi-discipline team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project timelines, cost estimates and procedures; track costs and verify invoices.
• Prepare AFE proposals and detailed procedures for completions operations.
• Perform frac modeling and post-treatment analysis.
• Coordinate with multiple contractors to maximize capital efficiency and minimize startup delays.
• Assume project management responsibilities and identify better work processes.
