Job summary

City of Fresno is seeking a Senior Community Revitalization Specialist to lead complex zoning enforcement, public nuisance control, and neighborhood revitalization efforts. The role may oversee field inspections, prepare reports, and coordinate with the City Attorney’s Office on assigned areas of responsibility.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years in interpretting and applying relevant codes, with one year in a public agency setting as a Community Revitalization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience interpreting and applying federal, state or local codes related to zoning, public nuisance and/or housing/commercial compliance.
• One year of experience working with a public agency as a Community Revitalization Specialist or equivalent.
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
