Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Community Manager to oversee on-site property operations and lead staff at a multifamily community. You will direct leasing, budgeting, administration, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure a well-maintained, compliant, and financially stable property.

You will manage marketing campaigns, staff training, and payroll records while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in multi-family property management.
• Experience supervising staff and leasing.
• Accounting/financial and administrative background preferred.
• Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Public housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations for property staff.
• Assist in budgeting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Market, show, and lease vacant units; monitor occupancy and rents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
• Coordinate resident relations and service-provider activities.
