Job summary

State of Washington - Department of Corrections is seeking a Community Corrections Officer 3 (CCO3) for the Spokane COPS Logan Unit 103 in Spokane, WA. This internal, full-time vacancy offers a pathway to supervisory responsibilities and training roles within the division.

Qualifications

• Armed staff must have the ability to carry and properly utilize a department-issued firearm.
• Must possess and maintain an unrestricted vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Washington.
• Willingness and ability to work with individuals with criminal backgrounds and anti-social behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals who have committed a crime and are under supervision
• Engage with supervised individuals to work towards positive change
• Enforce supervision conditions and the law
• Lead other Community Corrections Officers
• Act as the Unit Duty Officer
• Other duties as assigned or necessary
