Job summary

ERock in Houston, TX seeks a Commissioning Manager to lead the end-to-end commissioning of PLCs, protective relays, generator controllers, and the SCADA layer for low- and medium-voltage microgrid projects. This role manages FAT/SAT, safety, documentation, and turnover across multiple sites.

You will develop procedures, mentor technicians, ensure field readiness, and collaborate with Engineering, Construction, and O&M to deliver reliable and compliant power systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical power generation, microgrid, or commissioning with leadership responsibility.
• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical tech or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience leading commissioning activities from FAT to SAT and turnover on complex sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities for PLCs, protective relays, generator controllers, and SCADA.
• Plan FAT/SAT and energization; ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and maintain commissioning procedures and test plans.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations.
