Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive commissioning of mechanical systems in data centers across North America. You will review designs, prepare procedures, and lead field activities from design through occupancy, ensuring compliance with client goals and industry best practices.

The role requires strong problem solving, teamwork, and excellent communication. Travel nationwide is expected, with a focus on delivering reliable and safe plant performance.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in mission critical project commissioning or equivalent mechanical/controls experience.
• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or higher; PE license or commissioning cert is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression equipment in data center environments.
• Review designs for compliance with client goals and prepare execution plans.
• Lead field activities, document results, and coordinate with Project Manager and teams.
