Job summary

Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial flooring installation projects and field crews. The ideal candidate has a strong hands-on background in tile installation and can keep jobs moving, maintain quality workmanship, and lead installers effectively in the field.

The position is paying in the $90K range depending on experience. This role requires coordinating crews, materials, and subcontractors while ensuring safety and schedule adherence on site.

Qualifications

Strong tile installation experience is required.
Knowledge of tile setting, layouts, substrates, prep work, waterproofing, grouting, and proper installation techniques.
Experience leading crews or supervising commercial flooring projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee tile installation crews and daily jobsite activities.
Ensure tile is installed correctly and meets project specifications.
Read and understand plans, drawings, layouts, and specifications.
Coordinate materials, manpower, equipment, and jobsite needs.
Inspect work and identify or correct installation issues.
Keep projects on schedule and communicate progress with Project Managers.
Coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and subcontractors on site.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
