Job summary

Prevail Recruiting is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead Tenant Improvement and interior renovation projects in the Phoenix metro area. You will own projects from preconstruction through turnover, coordinating with superintendents, estimators, executives, owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes fast-paced TI work, organized decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-charge PM experience with a Commercial General Contractor
• Significant experience managing commercial TI, renovation, build-out, or interior construction projects
• Experience taking commercial projects from preconstruction through final turnover
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, estimating, buyout, and cost control
• Excellent communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, and clients

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial Tenant Improvement and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across all phases of construction
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, property management, and internal operations
• Develop and maintain project schedules; identify critical-path items and mitigate risk
• Review and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and project scopes
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, schedule, and safety
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, change orders, forecasting, and financial controls
• Lead subcontractor buyout, scope review, procurement, and trade coordination
• Oversee accelerated schedules and changing requirements for TI projects
• Champion jobsite safety and ensure OSHA and company compliance
• Mentor and support project teams
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
• Oversee punch lists, closeout, turnover, and client satisfaction
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
