Job summary

Mountain States GC, a leading general contractor, seeks a seasoned Commercial Superintendent for ground-up and renovation projects across healthcare, aviation, hospitality and education sectors. The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety, and delivery of complex projects.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate teams, and ensure quality and timely completion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across multiple sites in the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Commercial Superintendent in construction with proven project delivery
• Strong leadership and ability to manage self-perform teams
• Deep knowledge of OHSA 10-HR safety guidelines and culture of safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders
• Experience across healthcare, aviation, hospitality, education sectors a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction from groundwork to final inspection, delivering on time and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and project team members
• Enforce OHSA safety protocols and maintain a safe job site
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, codes, and safety compliance
• Collaborate with PMs, architects and engineers to resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, logs and safety records
• Guide self-perform crews and ensure quality of work
