Job summary

Superior Alarm Systems is expanding our Bay Area field team and seeks a Technician III who can own installations from rough-in to commissioning, lead a small crew, and deliver work you’d be proud to show. This role focuses on commercial security systems across access control, IP video, intrusion and intercom, with hands-on leadership on the job site.

You will be responsible for reading engineered drawings, turning them into clean, inspection-ready installs, and mentoring junior techs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing commercial security systems (enterprise, industrial, institutional or pharma).
• Hands-on install and commissioning experience with access control, IP cameras, intrusion and electrified door hardware.
• Experience with at least one enterprise platform: Genetec, Lenel, Bosch, or similar.
• CURE, AMAG, Avigilon or similar.
• Ability reading prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Leading installs across access control, IP video, intrusion and intercom, from first conduit to final sign-off.
• Commissioning integrated systems and solving the tricky problems other people elevate.
• Turning engineered drawings into clean, labeled, inspection-ready installs.
• Teaching Tech I and II teammates the habits that make great techs.
• Working with your Tech IV to keep the jobsite on schedule and the quality high.
