Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Tech I in Akron, OH. You will lead the service crew, investigate and repair leaks on EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofs, and manage projects from start to finish with a focus on craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of leadership in roofing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication and safety focus are essential for

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems (EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, metal).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work at varying heights and in different weather conditions.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead service crew and manage leaks and defects across multiple roofing systems.
• Oversee projects from start to finish ensuring quality craftsmanship.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and document work.
